I'm sorry to say that, but it was a really bad interview due to the following: the HR representative phone call was taking place in some really noisy environment, I could hear laughter, giggling, people talking over each other. The HR person was clearly distracted herself, I had a feeling that she was reading from some sort of script, she wasn't particularly interested in me and how could I fit in with my current experience. She asked me questions that any person from different industry would struggle to answer, so what was the point of the interview? Then she got impatient, which was "palpable", her tone of voice had changed and I don't think she realises how many clues one can deduct just from the conversation. Let me correct it was more interrogation than conversation. She cut it short saying she needs to rush to a meeting and I've never heard anything back. Fair enough - I may not be a suitable candidate, you may not feel like you like me - hell! you don't have to like me, but it's very unprofessional to be so obvious about it and everyone deserves respect. I've invested my precious time into this process and frankly - I regret it.
