Very long process (just over 3 months from application to rejection).
Consisted of:
- conversation with recruiter
- business interview with hiring manager
- loop stage (3 back to back interviews - design, behaviours, skill)
- case study presentation
this process was changed twice whilst going through it with very poor communication from the talent team on what each interview would be. The stage after the loop interview was thrown in randomly and changed from being a casual meet and greet, to an interview, to a presentation.
Additionally the behaviours interview was very odd, 2 standard questions and then a lot of grilling about why my previous employer was investing money in areas that I didn't know about and why a charity I had worked with 'cared about sustainability' (seemed odd for a behaviours interview or a design role interview) - this was also strangely reflected in feedback provided stating that I did not debate them on a topic that was unrelated to the role.
Overall very odd, very long process. The interviewer for the behaviours interview could benefit from training or clarity on what they are interviewing for. Talent team should be more transparent with candidates.
I spent 3 months getting to the final stage after already passing what was originally advertised as the final stage. A very tiring and drawn out process with poor communciation!
