The interview process was super nice and fun. I find the team to be great. The internal recruiter said starting salary would be a £45,000 base and told me they could sponsor my visa. I have a few friends who already work at Deliveroo with sponsorship. When called after the final round to give me the offer no negative feedback was presented. Super thorough with comments and read feedback aloud from each team member. This was amazing. Pushed my offer down to £40,000 and then told me they needed to kick off visa paperwork ASAP. I complied. 3 weeks later told me they didn't have the budget to sponsor and wouldn't move forward with me.
