I applied through a recruiter. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Deliveroo (Londres, Angleterre) in Apr 2022
Interview
The interview process lasted around 6 weeks, and consisted of a total of 7 stages. I was approached by their recruiter via LI. After making it to the last stage, I was informed that the process would not go ahead. No feedback was provided. I did follow up 3 times since but all my messages have been ignored. I could have followed up and be more persistent but clearly their hiring process does not stretch as far as responding to candidates, showing their total lack of business ethics. This is a company that supposedly values and supports (and interviews on!) open and transparent communication, but in reality neglects the basics of the hiring process. After weeks of engagement, they don't even give the courtesy to spend 10 minute to articulate a written, constructive feedback.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
The questions were those typical of a competency based interview loop. Mostly consisting of 'Give me an example of when ...' with a presentation on a case study as the very last stage.
I was tested on areas such as: technical acumen, problem solving, strategic thinking, stakeholders' management, impact etc
I'm very sorry to hear about your poor experience - this is not good. If you wouldn't mind, I'd love to dig into this and also try make it up to you in some small way. Can you drop me an email? jamie.edwards+glassdoor@deliveroo.co.uk
