Questions based on accounting standards - inventory, leases, revenue
Hiring team took very long to get back to me even after 2nd interview (last). Was only asked if I’m available for interview the day before leaving no time to prep.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Decathlon (Bengaluru) in Apr 2019
Interview
The process was for 1 day with 3 rounds.
1st Round was Sports round where they check for your passion for sports (maybe). They made us play a game by dividing all the participants into two teams.
2nd Round was a pen-paper test round. There were 21 questions related to basic accounting and finance. And 3 descriptive questions too.
3rd Round was personal interview. They questions asked were very simple and it revolved around what I do in my current role and why I want to join Decathlon. Coming prepared about the basic interview questions helped.
