      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Criteo in Aug 2014

      Interview

I applied via website. After a week or so, a recruiter contacted me via email and scheduled me to have a Skype interview with the Director of Technical Solutions. Interview consisted of some basic questions like what have you done so far with your current company, why Criteo, why makes you think that Criteo is fit for you, etc. There was also some short explanation about what this role is about. I was told that the interview would last for 30 minutes, and when the time was almost up (like 7 minutes left), I was given a chance to ask some questions. I got another email after 2 days. The recruiter sent me a technical test to be completed before the next interview with another engineer and managing director. The test itself was not completely difficult. It was about debugging website to see how Criteo script works and then you will be asked of how that script works. There were also some basic SQL questions. I sent back the written test a day before the scheduled interview. Went for the second interview. This one lasted for about 1 hour. No technical questions asked. Mostly it's about my current and previous job. They stressed that time management is really important for this role. Support will be provided if it's needed. Two days after that, I got another email asking for my current salary and benefits, including my expected salary. I gave them the details, and the day after, I got an offer.

I applied online. I interviewed at Criteo in May 2025

      Interview

I couldn't be more upset or disappointed in the interview process. To start, the recruiter was horrible at communicating and responding to emails. At the end of our initial interview, she said she was emailing me the coding take-home assessment right then. I didn't receive it for almost 48 hours, and that was also over 24 hours after I emailed her to follow up and ask for it. Then, she didn't include the files I needed to complete the assessment, and when I realized and emailed her, it took a week for her to respond and send me the files. Additionally, after I was told my assessment was reviewed and I advanced to the next round, which was presenting it to two Solutions Engineers, she called me 45 minutes before my interview was scheduled to start and says they added a last-minute live coding portion to the interview. As someone who struggles with anxiety and gets very nervous and tends to blank during live coding interviews, not being able to prepare, and being given only a 45-minute heads up is beyond unprofessional, disrespectful, and frustrating. I received feedback that my take-home assessment and presentation of it were great, however I didn't pass the live coding portion. So I excelled at the part I had time to prepare for, but I didn't do well at the part I wasn't given time to prepare for. I've dealt with bad recruiters and frustrating interview processes before, but these were by far the worst. I honestly think I dodged a bullet with this company.

      Interview

Lack of coordination and communication between the recruiter and hiring manager. Team members appeared disengaged and did not want to be there at all, they looked like they hate their job. Waste of time.

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at Criteo (Barcelone) in Dec 2022

      Interview

It was an interview for a Technical Solutions Intern. The interview was conducted online using Zoom. The HR interviewer asked general questions about my previous experience and education. very good discipline and behavior. I received an email after two days saying that they liked my CV and conditions but preferred to go further with the applicants who applied before me. They have many positions for paid internships, but as expected, at the minimum wage. At least in Barcelona where the salaries are low, this is normal. You might work as an intern, which you can extend for another six months, or you might apply for a job at Criteo. I don't know about other people who went through this process and if they could finally find a job there.
