Interview
The interview process begins with a phone screen from a recruiter. Rather typical, you make some small talk, go over your past experiences and basically prove you're human. You are required to take a math based test to show you understand the formulas behind Criteo's advertising methods. Complete waste of time and is very similar to any other standardized test. It proves nothing. The next step is an in person interview with two members of the sales team. Both times i've interviewed 3 out of 4 people I was supposed to meet were not there that day so they had to scramble to find new people to sit in. They might as well asked a homeless guy off the street because no one knew my background, my history and had a chance to look at my resume. I couldn't help but notice that my interviewer was scribbling in an empty notebook while I answered his questions. His notes were illegible and facade taken randomly in the middle of his notebook. He literally opened up a fresh book, went to the middle pages where the staples can be clearly seen and produced chicken scratch for writing. He didn't even give me the time of day to ask questions, talk about the company and when I went to thank him for his time he was already half way out the door. Overall I felt very disrespected both times I've come in for an interview and I felt as if I was interrupting someone's day.

They asked my about my background because they didn't know anything about me.
Proceso es muy rápido. Primero HR, después dos role plays con el hiring manager y un miembro del equipo en el que vas a trabajar.
- Primero, con HR, te hacen preguntas básicas sobre tu experiencia, etc.
- Después tienes la llamada con el hiring manager y el compañero del equipo. La primera parte (30 minutos) son preguntas sobre ti: tu pipeline, cómo lo gestionas, situaciones difíciles, etc. Luego, otros 30 minutos de role play: tú haces de account executive y el miembro del equipo actúa como responsable de marketing de la otra empresa.
- Si te va bien, pasas al siguiente paso, que es más como una presentación para convencer a este mismo cliente de que use Criteo.

Interview questions were relatively standard, scheduling of interview was done through an automated link. interviewer was great, well mannered and came on time. in a hirer market where there are more job seekers than hirers they showed professionalism which some companies have failed to do so.

Interview
Tuve una primera entrevista con la reclutadora de RRHH y una segunda entrevista con el head of sales. En ambas entrevistas se pregunto sobre mi trayectoria profesional, asi como, historia de la empresa, que sabia de ella y porque habia decidido aplicar a la posicion. La ultima parte de la entrevista con el head of sales se baso en un role play, en el que debias intentar convencer al prospecto de porque deberia trabajar con Criteo. Importante conocer a fondo los productos y servicios de la empresa, asi como la historia de la empresa, ya que valoran que sepas hasta cual es el nombre del perro de CEO de la empresa.
