I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Collabera in Apr 2025
Interview
This was all done through Microsoft Teams. They discussed what the general requirements and expectations would be. They helped me better tailor my resume to the position offered. Finally, there was a video call with someone from the client to do a final skills evaluation.

Question 1
I've got a server with eight sticks of RAM that won't POST. How do you determine which stick needs to be replaced?
The recruiter made repeated phone calls for weeks. They set up a last second interview. They told me I was a top candidate for the role then ghosted me/ ignoring calls. They overall seem flighty and odd.
In a communication assessment, you're usually required to speak on a specific topic that's given to you. The main goal is to evaluate how effectively you can convey your thoughts and ideas. If you have strong language skills—like a good vocabulary, clear pronunciation, proper grammar, and the ability to structure your sentences well—it becomes much easier to express yourself confidently and make a strong impression. A good command of language not only helps you communicate your message clearly but also adds professionalism and credibility to your speech. So, strong language skills play a key role in making communication assessments easier and more impactful.
