I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Collabera
Interview
I had 4 useless rounds of interviews of which the first round was a bit ok, all four interviewers were asking the same old questions, it looked like they were just having mock interviews so that they can practice on their interviewing skills. The last round which is 4th round was supposed to be taken by the manager, which he hesitated to do so, and asked a lady to take it, she first refused to do so later he convinced her to finish it in 5 mins. She too asked the same old questions and told wait for a while the manager will meet you, so I was waiting, but the manager was busy chatting with her near the reception area. After 15 mins a guy comes up to me and says will get back to you on Monday. It really was a bad experience. And I really didn't receive a call from them.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Collabera
Interview
Talked to them at a career fair and then met up with a few of the recruiters later that night at a bar, which I assume they do to see how you would act in a sales environment. Had a good time, and got a call a few days later to come to their office for an interview. Drove two hours to their office, only to listen to the interviewer talk about himself for 30 mins straight and barely let me get a word in. Drove 2 hours back. Then, they wanted me to come to their office again for a happy hour. Overall, one of the most unprofessional experiences I've ever had. They friend requested me on facebook, texted me, and spelled my name wrong and often their emails did not make sense. I took an offer elsewhere.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Collabera (Vadodara) in Nov 2011
Interview
Phone screen followed by 3 in person rounds. Each time same questions and same order of questions. They are very interested in why would someone not stretch. Very little on past experience, mostly on future and how determined are you.
