I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One in Sep 2018
Interview
There are 3 different types of interviews: behavioral, technical and case study. The behavioral is very easy to study for. The technical wasn't too difficult if you know your data structures well. Good luck!

Question 1
You need to design a system for our accounts that allows us to see the last 60 transactions, a balance of our account, etc. Note, you can have multiple accounts.
I talked to Capital One at my college career fair, applied online, and got a final interview on campus. They were very fast throughout the whole process.
The final interview had behavioral, case, and technical. During the technical interview, you're required to write code on paper, and if you get stuck the interviewer is pretty good about helping or leading you. They also had a design question. For the case interview, they just want to know how you think, and my interviewer was very relaxed, it felt like a sort of conversation rather than an interview. The behavioral just included some basic "tell me about a time when..." questions.
They got back to me within two days. Overall was a very positive experience.

Technical: deep copy linked list with random and next pointers
They used my campus' interview area and called me up when my time came. I knew beforehand that I was gonna be put through three different interviews - behavioral, technical, and a case study. All in all a pretty decent experience. The interviewers were nice, and helped guide you along if you stumbled somewhere with their questions. However, the three interviews went on for a long time. I suggest anyone taking it to come well rested and fed.

Question 1
Just the usual behavioral interview questions - "what project are you most proud of" "whats your best characteristic" etc.
