After initial exchange of email with staffing company , staffing company conducted their own screening, then forwarded resume to the capital one , capital one conducted a phone interview first , interview lasted for 2 hrs.Looks like the interviewer want to find some thing that i can't answer.
The position is for consultant in java , j2ee technolgy , so questions were asked started from basic OOPS to Advacned questions all kinds of , including some syntax and unix commands too:).
I never had such a horrible interview in my life .
Next one to one interview , four people grilled me to an extent , where i want to say ok thanks and leave.
I got selected , but declined the offer.

Interview
The first interview was an on-campus case-interview. Interviewer first asked me a little about myself and then got straight to the case. It was a very simple revenue-costs case about the raising the credit limit of certain credit cards. For final rounds, we were flown to the site where the following day, there was an interview powerday. 3 interviews - one case, one fit, one behavioral. The case was another simple math case interview. Behavioral was the standard "Tell me about a time when...". Fit was basically a chat with a recent hire.
The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Capital One (Bengaluru) in Sep 2010
Interview
Initially there was a screening test on site, fairly simple. The questions were based on the data provided about a company, it's income statements, revenues, expenditure forecasts. About half of us were shortlisted for the case interview.
Next round of interviews was a semi-case study. The business problem was to perform a comparative analysis of the various financial considerations involved in the purchase of diesel and petrol cars, break-even of costs etc, just basic calculations. The interview was very pleasant and an lively interactive discussion of the various cost factors involved.
