      Application

I applied through college or university. The process took 2+ months. I interviewed at CNBC (Englewood Cliffs, NJ) in Aug 2016

      Interview

The interview process was great. I have a lot of production experience from different prominent tv networks so I knew interviewing amongst interns and entry level employees would give me an advantage. Little did I know they already chose who they wanted ahead of time and used the workshop at the NABJ convention to just gain brand equity. It was really sad because people traveled from all over the world to attend the CNBC workshop to be considered for the role. They gave me a very mediocre interview and even when identifying with what they wanted they kind of just blew me off. Overall the workshop was great to learn about CNBC but don't go into it thinking you will be hired.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at CNBC in May 2021

      Interview

I applied for this position online and within a week, I got an email confirming that I'd been selected for an interview. The first interview was a video interview where you were limited in your response. It was very challenging. The second round of interviews was a three hour written exam.
