Question 1
Work experience in MEA; The most challenging project
Chaotic interview process with multiple unexplained rounds with recruiters and peers of the Hiring Manager, rather than with the actual Hiring Manager. Considering this was a fairly senior position in the TA team, I'm surprised that they managed to get it so wrong. Startups like to describe themselves as 'scrappy' but this wasn't that, it was just unprofessional and thoughtless.

Question 1
Variations on 'tell us a bit about yourself', in every single interview round.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ByteDance (Singapour) in Feb 2022
Interview
Had two rounds of online video interview. First round result was given within an hour. After 2nd round, they took more than 1 week to let me know that they won't move forward. The 2nd round interview was really great. Answered everything they asked. Coding question was solved in a very sort time with optimal solution. There was no proper rejection reason. Very bad experience. If you don't want to recruit then why do you waste other's time?
