Several phone calls with various leaders within the organization. There was a palpable sense of directionless ambition mixed with bouts of arrogance (e.g. interviewers multitasking, unapologetic lateness). Red flags galore.
1st screening by recruiter was professional and snappy but 2nd conversation with peer/subordinate was shocking, with the person yawning at least twice during our conversation. Questions asked were also run-of-the-mill, and the peer/subordinate appears to be vying for the same position. It's not surprising that I wasn't moved to the next stage.
