They found me via Linkedin, arrange and had 1st video call interview with HR, all went well. Arranged for 2nd interview with the hiring manager which is super rude from the start of interview till the end. First of all when I logged into the destinated link for the video call, it indicates the other party (the interviewer) is on another call. I waited for 10 mins while trying several times and email the HR regarding it. The HR claimed that the interviewer has been waiting for me?! So I sent them a screenshot to proof that I really was on the call but can not get through. The whole thing took roughly 20-30 minutes and when I finally got on the call with the interviewer, she mentioned she got another interview coming soon and the session need to be rushed out. So when the session goes on, she ask a few question regarding planning/operation. I answered based on my experience on how to run the operation and getting information from local parties to form up a good event. But interviewer started asking for very specific details which is difficult to answer unless I went to do survey and local exploration first to come back for the answers..she then gets rude and sounded super sarcastic because I do not provide free answer for their marketing/operation needs from interview candidates. And all the questions I asked regarding the company environment was briefly skipped through or answered with:"it's all confidential I can not share with you". Yes, very purely one sided interview to dig free information. Very typical of China that I have encountered before, but not anyone this rude in attitude. After the interview I obviously did not get any offer since the interviewer sounded super unsatisfied and rude towards me. 2 months later (here's the funny part). The recruiter from the company call me for interest check, I told them my initial interview fell through but I don't mind to interview again should they still interested, they did not respond for 1 week. Then I got 2nd call from the same recruiter, this time they said found my profile from another job site. So I told them what happen last week and they said will get back to me. Few hours later, the same person called me asking for interest check... I ask them to keep track who the call cause it is the same recruiter and they had called me a total of 4 times... After that nothing happens for the last few weeks.. honestly even I was very interested with the company and job, going through all these things? I'm no longer interested with them..
