I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Burger King (Portsmouth, South East England, England)
Interview
Handed in CV with my availability got a interview a week later. I got shown cards with photos of scenarios of customer and workers interacting and you had to explain what was happening. For example, one card showed a crew members back facing a customer and i had to explain that that was wrong and that the customer would have felt ignored and annoyed. Turn up to the interview clean looking, suit is not needed as long as you look smart.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Burger King (Ashtabula, OH) in Apr 2015
Interview
Laid back. A really good and friendly place but not so much after a year being there. The wait wasn't that long. The manager offered me something to drink. She explained if I got hired hair would have to be and I couldn't wear my ring finger. And earrings had to be an accpatial size and couldn't hang down at all.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Burger King (Terre Haute, IN) in Apr 2016
Interview
Applied roughly 2 weeks prior. Called the location to check-up on my interview status, and they simply asked when I was available for an interview. I came in that morning and we sat in the dinning area, with the Assistant Manager. She didn't ask any questions, rather talk about Burger King and the fast food business in general. Since this was my first job, she advised me you make the job on how you take it. You come in here just as a body, then it won't be a good job. If you come in here with a positive attitude then you'll love it.
She also talked about customer service a tad. On how one of her friends got mayonnaise thrown at her as an unhappy female customer didn't want that on her sandwich (McDonalds). The employee simply asked the customer if that made her feel better in a calm and collect tone (something in that context). The moral of the story is, earlier that day her husband (the customer) passed away. Any little thing can make someone go off and you just have to keep it calm and not let them get to you. She said how most young teenagers aren't aware on handling tough and stressful situation and they'll usually backlash at the person rather ensure great customer satisfaction.
