I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group
Interview
Interviewed in 2 different offices due to my location being different than the office I applied for. 1st round was with 2 principals from regional head office. The usual fit questions and a case each. After 10 days I have been informed that I have passed and would interview with the office that I have actually applied for
It took a little while for them to arrange the trip but eventually I have interviewed with 2 partners and a project manager in a similar way above. They quickly informed me about the result and I was invited to see the regional head.
Last round was a single interview. Shorter than usual. More general than previous interviews, including out of the class knowledge. A short case and some fit questions.

Question 1
Case - You have the Govt of India as your client, they want to organise an AI summit. How do you go about it?
I applied online. I interviewed at Boston Consulting Group (Londres, Angleterre) in Dec 2025
Interview
Online maths assessment via chatbot. R1 was 2 case studies back to back with consultants/principals online, pretty standard cases with a few fit questions. R2 was same format but with partners. I had a very tough unconventional case for one of them and an unpleasant interviewer who gave a lot of negative responses, but in hindsight that may have been pressure testing.
I first received a call to schedule the interviews. Before the main interview, I completed an online case with a chatbot, which was an interesting and structured exercise.
The first interview included a short FIT interview (about 15 minutes) followed by a case. The interviewer was very friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely willing to help — overall, a very positive experience.
The second round consisted of two cases and two FIT interviews. This experience was less positive: one interviewer came across as quite negative about the company, which left a poor impression, while the other interviewer was professional and helpful.
In the final round, I had two cases and two interviews — one with a Principal and one with a Partner. The interview with the Principal was disappointing, as he was distracted and spent much of the time on his laptop or phone. However, the interview with the Partner was very engaging — I learned a lot, and he gave valuable insights into the firm and its culture.
Overall, the process was well-structured and intellectually interesting, but the experience varied greatly depending on the interviewer.
