I applied through a recruiter. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Engineering Campus)
Interview
I first talked to a recruiter at a career fair and they asked a very simple programming question there. I didn't think it went so well but they ended up interviewing me anyways. They asked a lot of questions about projects listed on my resume. They then asked a technical programming question which was rather simple.

Question 1
The questions were really easy. Be sure to be able to really discuss the projects mentioned on the resume and sell yourself through that.
I applied through college or university. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Chicago, IL) in Feb 2015
Interview
Phone interview, very standard. Very quick. I was later told they interviewed a lot of people for the internship I ultimately got, but the thing itself wasn't tricky. Felt more like a conversation than a formal interview. I had some things prepared but I felt comfortable just speaking freely. I don't know how their regular process works though since I was applying for an outside fellowship.
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Bloomberg (Londres, Angleterre) in Mar 2012
Interview
Professionally run interview process with three stages. Candidates were made to feel at ease early on and senior journalists took time to ensure that there was a good level of understanding about the company and what was required of a potential Bloomberg employee. The first phone interview was with HR and then the final interview was with two Bloomberg editors at their offices.
