Seems like the recruiters don't have the time to read a CV before wasting someone's time by inviting them for an interview. Got on a call with them and was cut off while explaining my background to ask for an obscure area of experience. I wanted to ask if they thought I was leaving it off my CV for a dramatic reveal. Anyway, that was a waste of energy.
