Barclays Project Manager interview questions

Barclays Talent Acquisition seems to be split between recruiter who contacts the candidate and another who represent the business. They meet to discuss potential candidates to match against the vacancies. At least this was what one recruiter explained to me. Depending on where you are in the recruitment process, you may encounter various contacts. Some recruiters are more proactive than others. I had some recruiters who were one and done..automated rejection and/or never heard back on status. My interview experience was mixed. In one instance, I was told by the recruiter that I got the job but had to wait for requisition to be approved. 1 month later, I was told job was canceled due to budget. No fault of the recruiter there, it happens. However, in another instance, recruiter said I got the job (we discussed salary and benefits) but was told a week later that it was given by mistake! I was shocked and very disappointed. How does this even happen?! As frustrating as my previous interview experience was, I later applied again to multiple positions and was fortunate enough to get a recruiter who recognize my potential as a candidate. He said that I must've interviewed well since he saw my my history of making it to the final interview rounds. He helped scheduled multiple interviews for me. I eventually received and accepted a very good offer from Barclays. Moral of the story is persistence and luck!
