I applied online. I interviewed at Bain & Company (Londres, Angleterre)
Interview
Overall process was pretty good, everyone was very welcoming and the interviewers were very friendly. There were 3 interviews running consecutively, each lasting 35-45 mins (interviewer different for each).
First was a behavioural interview, a 1:1 discussion with a Bain manager. There were 8 questions in total, 4 addressing your past experiences and 4 hypothetical questions on what you would do in certain situations working as a consultant at Bain.
Second was a market sizing case, pretty straight forward. Got asked to estimate the annual revenue of an outdoor swimming pool in the UK.
Third was a case study, more interviewer led than I expected. It was about deciding on the best cancer drug to invest in as an American pharmaceutical company. Had to be careful with wording at times as it involved cancer treatment length and the % of patients that die (and therefore stop buying our drug) but not too tricky to solve.
