I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Aviva
Interview
The interview was ok, the people were very friendly and seemed professional. The process beforehand also seemed to run smoothly but it just didn't work out.
The competency based interview aligned to the supposed Values but the question didn't really align to the value (more below) I don't think it gave the opportunity to provide your best examples.
Here's the kicker - I heard nothing back, nothing at all. So rude and totally unprofessional, now moving all my products away from this company.
Obviously their values are just a throwaway line or two with no actual meaning behind them.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
At Aviva we care more.....tell us about a time you dealt with a difficult Stakeholder, how did that work, what did you do to change it....and so on!
Not sure how this lines up with the Value and then had multiple questions to answer in one go.
Fairly ad-hoc - interview by the desk of the programme director, next to the vending machine. Asked if I had experience with managing off-shore testers. Reneged on pay offered within two weeks.
