I had a 30 min informal interview with three people which went well. The recruiter then called me up straight afterwards to say they really liked me and that although it may take a few weeks due to annual leave, they really want to have a second interview. Her words were that the HM wanted to "keep me warm". I was prepared to wait and pleased about that outcome as I felt the opportunity would be great for me and I got good vibes from the interview panel.
I had stopped my job search as I knew this could be a good fit for me, weeks then went by and I didn't hear anything. I followed up with the Recruiter who said they were still sorting out the second interview and can confirm I am definitely still of interest to the hiring manager. More weeks went by and nothing.
Now, nearly three months laterI get the automated rejection letter from Workday. Why call me and say they really liked me to keep my hopes up? Really poor recruitment management from a company I expected to be much better. I am an Aviva customer and I have been absolutely put off by this treatment. This is peoples livelihood and its common decency to keep candidates informed. Really disappointed in the whole process.
