Applied through their website and received a link to book a phone call with the hr team within days. Chatted through general questions: right to work, pronouns etc. I was informed on the call I would have an interview and would receive a link to choose a time. Lots of availability for time slots so worked really well. The interview itself was on teams with someone from HR and someone from the team I applied to join. It lasted about 45 minutes and was really insightful as to the team, role and company. Overall a really positive experience. One of the best interview processes I’ve been through.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Tell me about a time you had to support an anxious customer.
I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Aviva (Sheffield, Angleterre) in Jan 2025
Interview
Initial phone call interview asking a few questions and confirming the job role. Why you want to work here, what customer service experience do you have. No issues here and the person was kind.
Interview questions [2]
Question 1
What would you do if you heard a fellow employee giving bad customer service?
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Aviva in Jul 2024
Interview
The initial pre assessment interview went well, friendly informative, supportive.
The interview itself was a bit chaotic. I was advised interview would be held with one person via Teams. Two different people appeared online and made no reference to the fact. Didn’t seem well rehearsed one person from the office one working from home (very distracted by personal circumstances)
2 out of the 8 strength based questions where about the role I was applying for therefore couldn’t answer in their preferred “star” methodology.
