I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Baltimore, MD) in Sep 2023
Interview
First I interviewed with their recruiter. We went over the job description and requirements, as well as how my experience relates to such. Then I interviewed with the manager of the team. This could have gone either way but I was lucky and the manager was an amazing human being. Finally, the third interview was a presentation of one of their slide decks with the lead MSLs for my region. The in-depth scientific questions they asked was nerve wracking. It was kind of frustrating because at one point, they weren't even too sure of the answer to one of their questions. I have PTSD whenever I see these individuals on emails or in video calls or at conferences.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Kuala Lumpur) in Feb 2024
Interview
I was asked to do a clinical data presentation within 10 minutes during the interview, overall is fine as long as you are well prepared. My interviewer is the medical affairs manager, and she asked questions related to how we handle different situations as well as scientific questions regarding the clinical data presentation.
