I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at AstraZeneca (Bruxelles) in Oct 2022
Interview
First a phone call, then an interview with the future team, then a meeting with HR. The phone call and the interview with the team were pretty quick and the whole process looked at the time fast-paced, easy and friendly which motivated me.
The first red flag however happened when the HR didn't show up at the planned time at our meeting and not exactly gave a satisfactory answer for this super unprofessional performance. We rescheduled the meeting for the following day, and everything looked ok in spite of what happened. The HR said that would contact me after so I kept waiting. I had to send a follow-up email to see how the process was going. I would have preferred to be told straight away that I did not have the requirements for the position than to be put on a waiting list.
For a company considered a "great place to work" I would like to say that it was very sad to see that the HR team acted contrary to the values they defend. I definitely do not recommend this company.
the interviewer is friendly. They did not ask much question during the interview. So the Overall experience is good. I remember they asked my hobbies and also I have learned from my course.
Had calls with various people from the organisation who were pleasant and tested the required skills for the role. Skills like communication, excel, team-building etc were questioned.
Overall the experience was good
