I applied through an employee referral. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Arthrex (New York, NY) in Oct 2013
Interview
I had a phone interview scheduled with each: the president and the VP of sales. I had an in-person interview with each of them as well. It was difficult to tell whether it was a positive experience for them. Both were very polite. I received an offer from the president by phone and a contract in the mail a few days after the interview.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Give us a weakness and tell us what you're doing to improve it.
Sitting in on surgery and meeting local owner. This was a multi-day interview. Overall wasn’t hard. I would recommend applying if you’re eligible for the role. The pay scale was a little weird from other industries I’ve been apart of but it might just be that’s how the medical industry runs things.
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Arthrex in Feb 2026
Interview
Applied online by submitting CV and answering basic questions that could be found on my CV. Interview was in person. Interviewer just went through CV and asked questions about the company and typical “why Arthrex? Why sales?” Etc.
Over 3 hrs round trip to the interview destination which imo should have been done online. Parking was a rip off and Arthrex refuse to cover even some cost of fuel and parking (£12 for 1 hr). Do not recommend if you are unemployed and strapped for cash because they don’t care.
Rejected for lack of experience which they could see I didn’t have from my CV so it was a monumental waste of time and money!
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Arthrex (Glen Rock, NJ)
Interview
You will first do an online interview, answering questions. Then be asked to do an interview in person, asking to do 2 surgical procedures. Make sure to study. Then move onto the third round.
