Apple Product Engineer interview questions

HR interview with simple questions and three Phone interviews with Engineers regarding material science questions and a following design challenge. The design challenge will have a duration of 5 days for a fresh graduate student.

- HR interview (phone) - Technical interview (phone) - Design project and presentation (generation over the course of the week, submitted for review) - Flew down to HQ for in person interviews over course of 2 days - Interviews were mostly technical white board Q&A's. Not very personal or personable. - Design presentation to large group Overall, it was intensive and was a good gauge of mechanical aptitude. There were only 2 out of about 16 interviews that were more culture/personnel fit assessments. The work would be intellectually satisfying, but it was obvious that there was no work/life balance and most of the interviewers seemed stressed and busy doing something else. Several were on their phones while I was at the whiteboard working on solutions.
