I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Sep 2018
Interview
Phone screen with recruiter, phone screen with hiring manager, and phone screen with director. Director asked why I left my previous role. After stating that it was a personal reason, he continued to dig deeper into the reason, which made me feel incredibly uncomfortable. It started to verge on illegal (he asked questions pertaining to my family and why I chose not to take family leave at my last job). Please take the time to research your rights as an applicant and do not feel obligated to answer personal questions like these. THIS IS ILLEGAL.

Question 1
Walk me through your background. Why are you interested in this position? What are some of the models you've worked with? Why did you leave your last company? Why are you interested in Apple?
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Apple (Cupertino, CA) in Aug 2016
Interview
I applied online and was contacted about a month later for a phone interview focused on the achievements on my resume. Then, I was scheduled for an on-site interview a few days later. There were 6 one-on-one interviews during my on-site visit. Each session lasted about half an hour. The interviewers were courteous. Most questions were behavior related. Interviewers would also ask situational questions with real work experience examples from my past projects. One interviewer asked a few brain teaser type of questions. (i.e. how many traffic lights in US, etc.) One of the interviewer were late and they had to find a last minute substitute resulting the interview to be shortened to 10 minutes. Contrast to other reviews, no interviewer asked the "Why work at apple?" question.
After the on-site interview, I followed up once a week with email, but the recruiter just wouldn't give me a clear answer on my candidacy. 4 weeks later, I called the recruiter, learned that they've placed me as the back-up candidate, and would let me know if the position is filled. So I followed up 2 more weeks, but the recruiter wouldn't respond anymore. To avoid overly aggressive, only one follow-up email per week was sent out. As a stay home mom trying to get back to the work force, I was scrambling to get a babysitter so that I could attend the on-site interview. It would be appreciated if the recruiter could provide some feedback, even if it's just an rejection letter. Using the silence treatment to reject a candidate is just a really unprofessional practice.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Apple (Singapour) in Aug 2016
Interview
6 rounds of interviews in 2 days: 2 rounds on the first day, 3 rounds back-to-back in the office, and final round with the 'final boss' through phone interview. The interviewers were friendly and I took it as a discussion/chit chat than an interview per se. The question started from a standard question like 'introduce yourself' and then getting deeper and more technical. They tried to guide me to link my past experience with the interviewed roles. Business partners were involved to help the interviewee to understand the significance of partnership between Finance and Logistics (again, more on discussion than interview). One of the interviewers even asked me to show evidence of my technical skills (so please make sure you get yourself prepared for whatever you have written in the resume).
