I have a lot of friends working for Amex and still is the toughest company to even get a second interview even if you have success. Had an initial phone screen talking about my background. They said they would get back to me by Friday which I then emailed asking for an update. Still haven’t heard back. I then heard through a friend they offered the position to an internal candidate. Awful process you all have.
