Interview questions [1]
Question 1
All questions were pretty much from leadership principles.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Oct 2024
Interview
There are three stages: call with the recruiter, call with the hiring manager, and then the Loop, which is a series of 5-7 consecutive interviews. If you make it to the loop there is also a written exercise you're required to do. There were scheduling screwups with every step of the interview process absolutely wasting my time. Ranging from ignoring my availability all the way to Loop interviewers not showing up and then not showing up again at the rescheduled time. They have zero respect for the interviewee and their time.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Basic behavioral questions focused on their leadership principles. Each Loop interviewer has 2-3 LP's their questions will be focused on.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Madrid) in Aug 2024
Interview
Contacted by recruiter, quick phone call where she asked about my cv.
For the next stage they suggested me to prepare at least 1-2 scenario for each one of the 12 leadership principles of Amazon (Time consuming). Call (without video) with Hiring Manager. Future team lead. Asked me 3-4 scenarios questions, I answered using example from my experience and scenario previously prepared. After 1 week Automatic email, rejected. I kindly ask for feedback of any kind, because my profile is very in line with description. Recruiter told me they can’t give it.
This interviewers behaviour describe very well poor company culture. Not providing feedback after candidate use 3-4 hours of time for preparation. Probably they could not afford my salary requirement.
In addition, management just took the non-sense decision of bringing everybody back to office. Very poor decision.
