Amazon Software Development Engineer SDE II interview questions

OA round consisted of 2 difficult questions mainly on the segment trees and DP, great set of questions, needs a good amount of intuition, first timers might not be able to get to the solution. The next rounds were screening rounds - Machine coding, LLD and system design.

The interview process was poorly structured and quite stressful. Most of the focus was on solving Leetcode-style algorithmic problems under strict time pressure and repeatedly answering behavioral questions based on Amazon’s Leadership Principles. The interviewers didn’t seem very engaged, and the experience overall felt more like a test of speed than a fair evaluation of skills.
