Part of the interview was through Hackerrank, and then another was through their own proprietary software. You complete the coding assessment and then move on to a simulation of a day in the life of an SDE, basically an interactive questionnaire that simulates receiving correspondence from colleagues and corroborating proper responses based on the situation and timeline of events. The coding questions were simple, but one of the questions had incorrect instructions, the test case enumerated in the instructions depicted a completely different set of logic from what was actually required and this burnt through too much time on my end trying to figure out what’s wrong. Unfortunately companies don’t care about quality assurance in this aspect, and just want to shuffle humans around like obedient cattle.
