I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Amazon
Interview
Extremely quick and streamlined process for such a huge company. They do not keep candidates waiting
-Applied online through the amazon jobs page and received an online assessment approximately 1 month later
-The online assessment was two algorithm questions. Mine were fairly simple, but I have heard others getting hard questions here. There was also a leadership principles 15 minute assessment multiple choice quiz asking you to describe your work style and what you would do in hypothetical situations.
-Less than one day after this, I received an invitation to schedule a final round 45 minute interview two days later.
-The 45 minute interview was fairly difficult, as 20 mins were spent on behavioral questions and 25 mins were spent on one easy and one medium algorithm question. The interviewer was friendly and made his expectations clear. He explained the behavioral and technical questions well.
-Received an offer letter three business days later.
Overall process time from OA completion to offer: 1 week and 2 days (fastest turnaround I have ever had).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Q: "Tell me about a time you had a disagreement with a superior"
OA consisting in 3 different leetcode questions first was probably an easy one and the other 2 were leetcode mediums and maybe hard I answered the first one fine did brute force on the second one and wasn´t able to answer the third one
Two rounds, one technical and structured Second was a lot more just talking. It was fine overall, asked questions you would expect from an interview. Didn't end up passing, it is what it is
Was part of the women programme spring insight. Started off with an initial cv screen, then moved onto a hackerrank oa, and then we moved onto an in person workshop with an interview at the end
