I applied through college or university. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon (San Diego, CA) in Oct 2016
Interview
I was called in for an in-person interview in October 2016, which I drove some 120 miles to. Everything was exceedingly accommodating and expenses were reimbursed. Interview was normal, behavioral questions. A couple questions were different than the usual ones, but still normally behavioral. There was one management case question that covered a discrepancy in payment of an employee and how you would handle the situation; it was to see thought process as opposed to getting the right answer. I am currently deciding on the offer. All-in-all a good experience. I had two consecutive 1-on-1 interviews that each lasted about 40 mins. This was the only interview.

Question 1
Describe a time you failed, how did you react to it?
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.
