I applied through college or university. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon (Oakland, CA) in Nov 2015
Interview
Two week, quick, warm, friendly, welcoming process. They appeared to respond well to physical and mental strength, charisma, humble confidence, ambition, and thoughtfulness. The interviewers were all Amazon workers who are currently or were Area Managers. They were receptive and truly listened to my responses. I found it easy to relate to them and ended the interview feeling confident.

Question 1
They want to know who you are when you fail, and how you recover. They want to know how you handle disagreements, and move forward. They want to know how you embrace challenge. They want to know how you speak about your successes. They want to know why Amazon, specifically, and what it means to you.
Multiple online tests after application, followed by a virtual interview with various staff. Staff did not want to be on camera and did not have many good things to say about working there.
Prior to even speaking to anyone about a possible interview there was a long and lengthy testing required. Really disappointing to finish with no feedback or additional details. I only received an email post test.
I applied online. I interviewed at Amazon (Stamford, CT)
Interview
Extremely unprofessional in my opinion. Talked to 3 different people, all of whom were wearing old sweatshirts and not looking at the camera. As I was sitting on zoom in a suit jacket, did not feel at all a place I would be valued at.
