Question 1
Tell me about one time you had to go beyond your responsibilities? How did it go?
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Amazon in Nov 2020
Interview
It has been a quite long process, it took approximately 3 months since I applied. It consisted of 4 steps:
- application with behavioral and technical online test
- first interview (in English) by using a special online platform, where you just record your answer to 4 different questions (be ready to be asked something pretty specific like "tell when you had to work with analytical problems")
- numerical reasoning test
- SHL test (which I currently don't know if it's mandatory or not) and final interview 3x30 min, lots of specific questions up to 3/4 per interviewer.
the questions are completely based on the 14 leadership principles, just prepare a situation for each but the most important thing you gotta show them you are motivated and enthusiastic.
the last interview was unexpectedly completely in Italian even though it was supposed to be partly in English (the interviewers might have not had a decent English level, who knows...)
