Resume screening, and video interview. Different from other interviews. Need to study yourself, less about the firm for second stage of interview. Great firm to work for according to peers
Contacted me relatively quickly, and soon scheduled the online interview. You get to practice a question, and the interview takes only a little time. Going through all of the questions that other users post on here will help you prepare, but try to remain flexible.

Question 1
What is a recent newspaper article you found interesting?
I applied through college or university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at AlphaSights (New York, NY) in Nov 2014
Interview
Same as just about what everyone said. First video interview. 5 seconds to think of a response and 30 seconds to answer. One question they give you 60 seconds. I recommend scrolling through all of the categories that people have mistakenly put under intern. Summer analyst, intern, summer analyst intern, or whatever possible combination of those words. That way you will see all of the possible questions and be fully prepared. I was fairly unprepared for a few questions and thought I preformed slightly poorly but I still got onto the next round. That makes it seem as if the video interview was just a quick way to make sure the applicant had some decent communication skills and could think a little bit on his/her feet. So don't stress the awkwardness of it too much as I imagine the google hangouts next round is more of the make it or break it part of this interview process.
