I applied through college or university. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at AlphaSights
Interview
1) Saw posting on University alumni job portal
2) Applied in late November
3) Got email to interview on TaketheInterview 3 days later
4) I was invited for a Skype interview about 3 days after TaketheInterview
5) They sent an email with pre interview questions with case studies.
5) First Skype interview was in mid December (case study questions were not addressed). The girl was nice and we had similar educational and professional backgrounds.
6) I was invited for another Skype interview for early January
7) Interviewed second time on Skype with another higher level employee (case study questions were still not addressed). He seemed pressed for time.
8) Two weeks later, late January, I was told they would not be moving forward with me
After the second Skype interview, I was really curious why I wasn't asked about my case study/ pre interview prep. I researched the industry they gave me, found four experts that could advise a client that wanted to invest in the industry they gave me (even though they asked for two experts), and found three potential clients (as they requested), yet I was never asked about my assignment.

Question 1
As a pretty recent college grad, because I had been unemployed for three months by the time the interviews started, it was difficult to make myself look like I was busy, doing amazing things, as I'm sure the other candidates have... They asked me "So, since you work part time, what do you do to keep busy?"
