I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe (Bengaluru) in Aug 2021
Interview
Scheduling interviews- positive
First round with HM- 30 minutes- asked basic questions around why would I want to join Adobe, thought leadership related questions, why is customer success important
Second round- Best interview I ever had. It was for testing my German skills.
Case study round: I didn’t do too well in this round.
Final outcome- got rejected
Asked for feedback from HR, HM, Senior Manager and none of them provided with the feedback. That was the worst part of the interview.
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe in Aug 2021
Interview
The interview process was rigorous but not excessive. I spoke first with a recruiter who did a phone screening interview. She was pleasant and asked good questions as well as providing additional information about the role. Soon after I met with the hiring manager and then a few members of the team individually. Lastly, I had a panel presentation to do, they gave a very detailed case and even provided someone to give me some pointers on the panel process.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Adobe in Jul 2021
Interview
I had an initial screening with the Recruiter. He said he was good to move forward and sending my resume to the Hiring Managers to review and shared next steps to expect. I asked if I should follow up with him if I didn’t hear back and I definitely should - to call or text anytime because his email often got filled up.
I never heard back - I texted after a few days and was ghosted. The frustrating part was that he advised me to really learn the Adobe Experience Manager products and Marketo well to prepare for the interview and I put in hours after work for days studying the products and watching demo/training videos.
The professional thing to do is at least reply that you have decided to proceed with another candidate, so that I could stop preparing for the interview.
