After being solicited to interview with the company, I had a basic screening interview done by a coprorate recruiter. She was very polite and told me I would be contacted to discuss next steps. After not hearing anything for about six weeks, I followed up to find out the status. After another week or two, I finally received an email that I would not be hearing from anyone. I thought the interview went very well and was even told I would be contacted. I believe my profile was probably too senior and experienced for the role they were looking for but I would have just liked some closure/follow up from their end. I was very disappointed by the lack of professionalism / follow up provided by the company.
