I applied online. The process took 6 months. I interviewed at Abbott (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
They did an initial interview with the basic questions you would expect to hear from an interview (Walk through your resume, Strengths and Weaknesses, Overcoming Difficulties). Then went through 4 separate interviews with people on the team. Everyone seemed alright and motivated to work with the company.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Abbott in Mar 2022
Interview
Overall it was a pleasant experience. A third-party recruiter put me in contact with opportunity and set up a video interview the following week. On the call was the manager and another employee. The interview was casual and felt more like a conversation than intense questioning. The video interview lasted about 45 minutes.

I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Abbott (Woodbury, MN) in Jul 2021
Interview
The interviewing process was BS!
I’ve never seen manufacturing engineer managers with their head so far up their behinds, kind of Kirk.
Quality Manager seem to be unaware of what he was doing, seem to be very young. Was told I was interviewing for a role to find out that role was already filled. After interviewing for a role that’s not even on a requisition yet, I get a call to go back and interview for the position that I was supposed to interview for in the first place, but this time the manager I was going to report to is no longer working there.
Abbott is not as prestige as I thought they staid it was. The recruiters was very professional, this role is still open. If you happen to come across it don’t waste your time, this quality manager is just trying to get numbers so his director doesn’t chew him up, he is not actually going to hire anyone.
