The person that called me must have been a newbie or had a bad day or didn't really care at all.
First of all, called out of nowhere. That is not a problem, asked me if I had a few minutes, I said sure, no problem.
The person did not state the duration of the call, in order to have a structure of the call, in order to adapt the infos that I had to present.
The presented job was Account Manager but the description of the job was according to an SDR. Let's be honest, there is no AE with a package that starts at 24k gross salary / year in France.
As, at some point I had an observation concerning some contradictory information my interviewer was saying, his reply was very passive agressive "No, no, no, no, no, that is not true", on a rather high tone. I believe that this person is not aware that people can have a different opinion and that it's ok to have a different oppinion.
I wanted to put some questions about the KPIs, about the job, but the person did not provide infos about that, nor suggested he'll get to me as soon as he has an answer to my questions.
I knew very well their product and platform, being a registered user for over 6 years, but this person did not know what he was talking about. Many questions were left without an answer.
All in all, in my 17 years of career, it was one if not THE most awkward discussion I had with someone that was meant to evaluate my skills and screen my profile, but was not at all able to have a real dialog, between two adults.
This type of unprofessional person with a bad attitude is very toxic for Auto1 Group in Europe, even if he is woking only for France.
