The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at ALDI (Atlanta, GA) in Sep 2015
Interview
Was contacted by a third party company at my current job with regard to the initial interview. I was appreciative, however requested that I not be contacted at my current employer. I called the 3rd party back and set up the interview later that day. I was AGAIN contacted at my job with regard to the interview, the individual thought it was funny that I insisted on not being contacted at work. I did however partake in the first interview which was a group interview of approximately 8 candidates. I was selected to partake in the 2nd interview, in which I was told that I was overqualified due to my experience in multi-unit management. I was then assured that Aldi does not promote from within and dismissed. VERY DISHEARTENING.

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at ALDI (Richmond, VA) in Oct 2015
Interview
Fun, friendly and enlightening. The District Manager was easy to talk to and very professional. ALDI is simple yet different. I enjoyed Ryan's knowledge and passion for the company. He is extremely dedicated and that inspired me.
I applied in-person. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Detroit, MI) in Dec 2012
Interview
Three interviews all 1-1 common simple questions about former jobs and abilities. They can't stress enough how physical the job is and what is truly required. They were very honest about hours pay and all areas of job. They made it very comfortable to speak and you were even able rivals the store and point out areas you saw that needed opportunities. They were very punctual with time and were willing to answer any questions I had
