I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Londres, Angleterre) in Jan 2019
Interview
Really enjoyed my interview. 1-1 was brilliant and walked out feeling brilliant. As soon as I got home I received an email to say I has got through to the Store Event. Really enjoyed this, the team made me feel very welcome and kept saying how well I was doing and that I’d fit right in. Had a conversation with the manager after and he made me feel like I’d got the job, discussing hours and contracts and he winked and said I would definitely hear in a week and not to worry. A week passed and I heard nothing, a week and a half passed and I received an email to say I was unsuccessful and to try again in a year.

Completed extensive online application, was then invited to a attend a group session which lasted approximately an hour. Consisted of 5 personnel, including store managers. Not much one on one interaction.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
No direct questions, just a 5 minute math assessment, eg if a customer made a purchase of €16.59 and paid with a €10 and two €5 bills how much change would they get back... Then it was a group discussion based on how you would approach a situation in the store according to priorities and give a group feedback.
I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at ALDI in Jun 2017
Interview
Brief questions followed by why you want to work for company. Was a really straightforward interview and quite relaxed. Had to complete a maths test at the end which was simple enough. Whole interview lasted 20 min.
