I applied online. I interviewed at ALDI (Celbridge) in May 2018
Interview
Aldi has probably one of the worst recruitment process I have ever been to. First it starts of with an online survey which is done to see how fast of a thinker you are followed by a few which describe you questions. The goal is to see what type of personally you have and how it will fit with the companies ideas.
I was called for a group assessment in celbridge, 17 people showed up between ages 19-55. It was awkward at the start because the area manager was late and we all sat there and no one spoke.
He went on about how Aldi was efficient and effective at what they do and I didn't even get to speak much because it was a group assessment and he basically gave us a plane crash cinario and watched how we interacted.
This was probably one of the worst way you can interview people because there will always be load individuals and that what aldi looks for. They want the loudest speakers and you could even tell by the area manager that he was a Conor mc gregor wanna be.
No body got a 1 to 1 after and I got a message the next day saying I was unsuccessful. This was all for one job (keep that in mind.)
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Dublin, Dublin) in Mar 2018
Interview
There was the Online application. Then i got offered to book in for a group session. Went to the group session. There were questions around my past and work experience as well as my skills and knowledge of the business.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (South Shields, Angleterre) in Apr 2018
Interview
I have been for a group interview at ALDI two weeks ago and really enjoyed the experience. It was a group of four. We were asked what we knew about ALDI, Why We wanted to work for aldi, what experience we had in customer service. Also we were asked what was different to aldi than other supermarkets. Also we were able to talk a little about ourselves so that the interviewer got to know a little more about us. We then had a scenario which we had to read and prioritise events which happened in order of most needed to do first between 1 to 6. Then we had a quick maths test for five minutes. All in which were similar to the online assessment questions. I have been offered a one to one interview for this weekend, so hopefully fingers crossed I get the job!
