I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at ALDI (Newcastle upon Tyne, Angleterre) in Sep 2021
Interview
Applied online, received an invite to complete interview type question via a app which you record yourself and it gets submitted to the company for review-very odd never had to do that before.
About 3 days later got an invite to go to a in store interview was only offered a specific day and time which i couldnt make so asked for an alternative.
About 2 weeks later finally received another offer for a weeks time. Standard interview stuff.
Was told i was successful about a week later.
Was told by email to attend a 2 hour 'shop trial'
Turned up and this wasn't the case, but more of a meet and greet and shop tour with the manager lasted about 10 mins, was told i would hear back in a couple days. Took about another week, to be told i wasnt successful, no offer of feedback as to why i didnt get it despite being over qualified.
So all in all from the first application took about 4 weeks, with 3 separate interview type meetings with 0 offer or feedback

Question 1
How would you deal with difficult or agitated customers

Interview
Very reasonable questions first it was the online test that took a bit of time worth to read all the questions properly because some of them could be tricky and then the interview asking questions based on different situations could happen.
Video recording interview is annoying and frustrating with a timer. I would have preferred a face to face interview so it’s less frustrating with the fact that I had to speak in a certain time with only a minute to prepare.
