ALDI interview questions

Group Interview Applied and received an email for group interview two days later. At the store I met another six applicants waiting, a mixed demographic of ages and backgrounds. A bit of politely awkward conversation, after all you want to be friendly, but everyone wants the job. At the designated time we were greeted by two ALDI area managers and invited into the staff break area. Another three or four people arrived a little later making for an amusingly snug interview. Watched a video on ALDI in Australia and were then asked some things we learned about the company. We then had a minute to introduce ourselves, our background and something interesting about yourself. It pays to have something ready, especially if you aren't the bragging type, so you don't get stuck stammering and seeming unsure and unimpressive. We then filled out some papers re. Availability, location preferences etc. We then took a tour of the store and were given examples of ALDI's simplicity and efficiency in action. A look out the back and then any questions we had. Later the same day I received an email for a one on one interview in a week. Will update on that as it happens.

applied in store, chased up 3 times before get a call from area manager, arranged interview with 2 area manager on a weekend at 9am and got called back straight away and went in for a unpaid trial day before getting the job
