I got an offer to move to CBIZ tas. Doing B4 audit since October 2024 and going to be promoted to senior in 2 months so will have to leave right before senior promo. Should I hit my 2 year mark and try for a better MM firm for TAS? (RSM, etc.?) Have my CPA as well. The CBIZ position is also fully remote which i dont think is a good thing at early career for networking and growth? Advice is appreciate!

what’s with managers reviewing work papers 2 months after they’re done and then writing review comments? makes me not want to cooperate with them

How to succeed in public accounting these days if not an uptight Type A workaholic? Especially at manager or above. I have a real life and interests/identity outside of my job and I don't freak out over the slightest mistakes in workpapers but those seem to be who public accounting is for - especially these days. How do I succeed without letting the job take over my life or change who I am as a person?

Can anyone convince me that making partner is a terrible idea?

Up for promotion to manager in December but I don’t have any desire to be a manager nor do I want to stay senior for another busy season. Looking to exit. Do I stay for the title bump? Feel like it would still look weird on my resume to quit right after making manager but don’t want these years of hard work to go waste.
