Pros

None that i would think about, work wise might be a good experince

Cons

I hated every day there, my manager was a weird male cheerleader who didn't like me and acted like little kids, everybody up there is weird and unwelcoming, i got fired without even a reason. Not just me but another college who was hired at the same time

Pros

Good health insurance and benefits.

Cons

“This company is disorganized with horribly low employee morale. Achievement is almost impossible if you are good at your job because there are so few decent employees that the good ones get stuck doing everything. Management is oppressive and lacks true leadership. I have been working for Univar for almost 4 years and I have seen a steady downhill decline on everything from financials, leadership and morale. With the new IPO that has come out in 2015 expenses are being tracked at an all time high. Univar is no longer willing to pay employees overtime even if it is needed to perform essential job duties. This impacts customer service and sales. Upper management doesn't see the greater picture and only pay attention to numbers on spreadsheets. I personally have been denied compensation, incentives and bonuses despite earning them because the company was not doing well enough to pay my meager earnings. What is the point of trying your very best only to be let down by false promises? They work you to the bone and then refuse to pay you what you are worth. Univar continues to gobble up companies and become a monopoly but lack the knowledge and leadership to actually have success. Don't be fooled, all the money they say they can't pay you that you have truly earned goes directly into management pockets and into buying new companies they can't afford! My advice is to keep looking, this is in no way your dream company to work for, they will literally suck the life out of you.”

KEEP ON LOOKING

Pros

Unless you are in Sales, Absolutely NONE. I wish I were lying but unfortunately I’m not.

Cons

If you work in operations you can expect to no longer get overtime after 8 hours. No more safety bonuses. No more profit sharing bonuses. No more lousy $50 gift card at Christmas. Micro managed. Managers who don’t have a clue about logistics and operations. Just a bad atmosphere from a group of investors that couldn’t care less except for the bottom line.
